this past weekend i went to amsterdam! i feel like such a world traveler… it’s crazy how i can visit so many amazing places in such a short amount of time. i went to amsterdam with very little expectations, and i didn’t know much about it. what i found was that amsterdam is absolutely gorgeous. and it’s not just one area of town, the entire city is beautiful and quaint with canals everywhere! while we were there we went to the van gogh museum, the red light district (omg scary…), the heineken brewery, a canal tour on a boat, and anne franks house (so incredible to see but so sad). we also explored different areas and ate tons and tons of food! the pancakes were amazing- i loved the bacon and apple pancakes which were huuuuge! overall it was an amazing weekend! i won’t be traveling this weekend, so i’m excited to get settled back into barcelona and explore even more.
